About Dr. Rodriguez
Dr. Noelani Rodriguez is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor specializing in Women’s Health. She practices medicine at Maven Wellness, a Naturopathic and Integrative Medicine Clinic located in Poway, San Diego, California.
In middle school, after her father was diagnosed with stage IV throat cancer, she realized she wanted to be involved in the health field. She found her passion for naturopathic medicine while earning her Bachelors of Science degree at the University of Hawai’i. It was her research in increasing lean muscle mass combined with her studies in nutrition that propelled her into wanting to learn more about how to optimize health from a comprehensive whole-body approach.
During her training in naturopathic medicine she became drawn to treating women’s health conditions including hormone imbalances, peri-menopause digestive health, thyroid conditions and weight management. Since receiving her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University, CA she has attended multiple post-graduate trainings to further hone her skills in the women’s health field.
Her approach to healing the body is individualized, holistic, and patient-centered. Dr. Rodriguez recognizes that despite people having the same general body parts, factors like stress, genetics, lifestyle, and diet all contribute to a person’s state of being and honors these differences. She uses research-based, integrative medicine that addresses the root cause of symptoms to ultimately help her patients feel and look their best.
In her free time Dr. Rodriguez enjoys camping, doing Lagree or attending F45 for exercise, traveling, cooking, browsing local street markets, trying new restaurants, and just being outdoors. She is also very passionate about environmentalism and is always looking for simple, non-toxic, sustainable alternatives to help reduce waste.
